This is a remarkable vintage Santo Domingo very long turquoise and shell necklace. Located on the necklace is a marvelous plethora of hand cut chunky Sleeping Beauty turquoise stones and purple spiny oyster shells. Located at the end of the necklace are two beautiful jacla pendants that consist of hand cut graduating disc shaped Sleeping Beauty turquoise stones with end accenting corals and purple spiny oyster shells. Seperating the two long strands from the two stranded jacla pendant is one of the larget chunkiest coral stone that measures a whopping 1-3/4" X 7/8". Situated throughout the stones and shells are wonderful white to brown shell heishi. Cir. 1970's+. The length of the necklace measures around 39". Sturdy 143 grams.
